Reviews and Ratings
I had high hopes for this resort, especially since it's been a family favorite for decades. However, I was disappointed by the lack of attention to detail in the rooms and the service. The views were lovely, and the property has potential, but multiple service lapses and dated facilities made for a frustrating stay. Unfortunately, I can't say I would recommend it anymore.
My stay at Windermere was a mix of highs and lows. The location by the lake is stunning, and my room had a great balcony with a nice view. However, the room itself was somewhat dated, and I expected more for the price. The dining options left a lot to be desired, and the service was hit or miss. While I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, other meals didn't match up and were overpriced. Overall, it's a nice spot but not quite worth the premium rate.
While the resort has potential with its beautiful views and enjoyable amenities, my stay was marred by poor service and several issues with the room. The location is gorgeous and perfect for a family getaway, but the lack of attention to customer experience needs improvement, especially considering the high price tag.
My stay at the resort was quite a mixed bag. On one hand, the view from my room was absolutely stunning, overlooking Lake Rosseau, and the atmosphere in the pub was fantastic, especially with the cozy stone walls and patio. However, the noise from the wedding party below was really disruptive, and the Wi-Fi wasn't reliable at all. Overall, there's potential here, but some improvements are definitely needed.
I had a lovely experience at the hotel, which is located on the picturesque shores of Lake Rousseau. The check-in process was seamless, and our king-size garden view room was quite spacious and clean. However, the bed was a bit too soft for my liking, and the breakfast could use some improvement in temperature. Overall, it was a relaxing stay, and I would definitely consider returning.
